Treatment
Apply pressure using ice-pack Mouth rinse:
Pinch of salt in lukewarm water Rinse twice a day to reduce swelling
Consult a dentist if bleeding continues
Avoid aspirin intake
Massage gums regularly
Reline poorly fitted dentures
Take vitamin supplements if necessary
Prevention
Avoid Tobacco
Avoid snacking between meals
Reduce Carbohydrate- rich food
Remove plaque every 6 months
Brush teeth using soft-bristled brush
Floss teeth regularly
