ADO-EKITI— Wife of Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, and the
state Deputy Governor, Prof. Modupe Adelabu, Tuesday, embarked on
house-to-house awareness campaign programme on cancer.
They commenced the awareness programme at the palace of Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe and later moved to the popular Erekesan Market in the state capital.
Fayemi used the occasion to flag-off a week-long free cancer and other disorders screening in Ado, Ikere, Ifaki, Ijero and Ikole-Ekiti.
Mrs Fayemi advised the residents against ascribing any ailment to spiritual attack, urging them to always consult their doctors.
